Experience

Manuel brings over 25 years of international experience across the technology, industrial, consumer goods and retail sectors. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions, including President and CEO, Regional Vice President and Board Member, within organisations such as Honeywell, Henkel, Metro/MAKRO Group and Keenfolks, with responsibilities spanning Europe and Latin America.

He is currently a Partner at AgileFOCUS, Chairman of Vistage Portugal and an Advisor to several international organisations. His career is distinguished by extensive experience in executive leadership, organisational transformation and executive team development, underpinned by a strong international and multicultural perspective.

Qualifications

Manuel holds a Master's degree in Industrial Strategy and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from ISEG. He has also completed executive education programmes at Harvard Business School, INSEAD, IESE Business School and Thunderbird School of Global Management.

He is fluent in five languages and has lived in ten countries throughout his international career.
